Three free live sessions

What we're covering

Live at 1:00 PM ET each day. Can't make it live? Register anyway — replays are free through September 28.

01 All About Hydration Mon, Sept 21
Hydration chamber and stem conditioning demonstration

Starting on Monday, September 21st, join me for a deep dive into all things hydration. Learn the essential plant physiology principles behind the “hydration chamber” and learn how to use it to maximize moisture and bolster your materials so they perform at their very best. This is always a popular topic, join me live and bring all your burning hydration questions!

A peek inside the Virtual Studio

This is the perfect example of what's inside my Virtual Studio membership. I pay close attention to the science behind why flowers fail, break it down into practical, testable technique, and offer time- and waste-saving solutions — like how to actually put a hydration chamber to work — so designers can extend the life of every stem and make incredible work right away.

02 Material Selection Primer Tue, Sept 22
Reliable flower varieties for wilt-prone floral work

Successful designs depend on wise material selection. Choosing correctly is always important, but it's especially important when making wilt-prone work such as corsages, crowns, and lapel flowers, intricate bouquet work, and sustainable large scale floral installations. Join me on Tuesday, September 22nd for a session outlining the qualities and categories of reliable flowers and how to use them best!

I pay close attention to how different flowers actually behave under stress, break down the qualities that separate reliable materials from risky ones, and offer practical selection strategies so designers can choose with confidence instead of crossing their fingers.

03 Modern Corsages, Boutonnieres & Lapel Flowers Wed, Sept 23
Modern corsage, boutonniere, and lapel flower designs

Join me on Wednesday, September 23rd for an information-packed session on how to make impressive, modern corsages, boutonnieres, and lapel flowers. Learn ideas that will change your approach and actually make you look forward to this often- dreaded task! These accessible, affordable ideas will transform your approach, allowing you to produce little artworks quickly and easily.
