Evolve your bouquet work

Snappy, testy, but absolutely worth it! Learn how to condition, select, and expertly wrangle tulips so your cascade bouquets hold their form and appear effortless.

Join me October 20th at 1:00 PM ET, where I'll share my “wire spine” approach and threaded approach to the viral tulip cascades that are taking over the internet. I'll walk you through these two approaches and show you how to combine them to make incredible, impressive tulip cascades. We'll also discuss proper selection, conditioning, and stem manipulation, so we can work with, and not against, these popular flowers. The fun bit? These armature methods can be applied to many other flowers as well! This class will add several impactful solutions to your skill toolkit.

Whether you're planning ahead for spring weddings or looking to add modern, movement-filled cascades to your studio's offerings, this focused class will give you the tested process and live demo to put these techniques to work right away.

White tulip cascade bouquet

Tulips may be my favorite bouquet flower… but!

Their stems are snappy and testy. They sag and droop without proper support and hydration. They can break easily under physical stress, and have their own opinions about where they want to go. But when they're conditioned well and corralled with smart mechanics, tulips are dependable and long lasting, and few flowers give a bouquet that much movement and personality.

After seeing tulip cascades dominate the internet, and seeing tons of questions from florists asking how they are made, I tested and tweaked in my studio until I had several methods that offer solutions.

I saw many teaching wiring and taping, but the mechanics were bulky and messy and were obvious in the finished designs. I want these cascades to appear effortless and light, with imperceptible mechanics. That's what makes them magical!

The methods I ended up liking best have become the Viral Tulip Cascade Edit class, and the response has been incredible. So join me on October 20th for a concise introduction to these ideas! My hope is that these ideas take the stress and guesswork out of this popular design, allowing you to create incredible work right away.

Hi. I'm Sue.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.

With over 20 years in floral design, I can say with confidence, no matter where you are in your business, I've been there too! Having taught over 20,000 students, I am passionate about helping florists build their confidence and find their creative voice.

I designed this tulip cascade masterclass for busy, working florists who want a bit more from an online class. In this live (recorded for replay) masterclass, you are able to have your questions answered and hear great questions from your peers answered as well!
